About the Role:

ChezRanti Community Centre Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Group Home Worker to join our team. As a Group Home Worker, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to clients living in group homes and half-way houses. Your primary goal will be to help clients develop the skills and confidence they need to live independently and successfully reintegrate into their communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support and guidance to clients, focusing on their unique needs and goals.
  • Develop and implement rehabilitation programs that promote social, emotional, and behavioral growth.
  • Assess client needs and develop strategies to address them, including crisis intervention and conflict resolution.
  • Collaborate with other social services agencies and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
  • Maintain accurate records and statistics to inform program evaluation and research.

Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience in a related field, preferably in a group home or social services setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
