Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Good Samaritan Village By The Station in Penticton, BC. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work in a team environment, focusing on the social model, and perform a variety of nursing duties, as assigned by the Care Manager or designate.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality care for residents with multiple complex needs in a high-stress environment.
  • Deliver and report activities of daily living and other duties as required.
  • Work collaboratively with families, guardians, and professional groups to ensure resident-centered care.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, as required.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A current and clear license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Current CPR/First Aid certification.
  • Dementia care training an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal English.
  • A positive approach to teamwork and collaboration.
