Construction Estimator

We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team at Elid Construction Inc. as a key member of our estimating department.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects. This will involve working closely with our project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure that our estimates are comprehensive and meet the client's requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects
- Develop and maintain a directory of suppliers and trade contractors
- Liaise with engineers, architects, and owners to ensure accurate estimates
- Monitor and adjust contract expenditures
- Prepare and submit estimate reports, quote sheets, and bid forms
- College diploma or equivalent in a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in construction estimating
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in estimating software and MS Excel
