Ethics and Compliance Business Partner, Canada

Astellas Pharma Inc. is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Ethics and Compliance Business Partner to join our team in Canada. As a key member of our Compliance Department, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our business operations are conducted in accordance with our high ethical and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Business Partnership: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement strategic business plans that align with our company's values and compliance policies.
- Compliance Program Management: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of our global compliance program, ensuring that all local codes and regulations are considered and adhered to.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with our business operations, working closely with our Risk Management team to develop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.
- Training and Communications: Develop and deliver training programs to ensure that all employees understand our compliance policies and procedures.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, employees, and external partners.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in a regulatory area, such as compliance, finance, or quality, within the life sciences industry.
- Program and Project Management: Significant experience in program and project management, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Compliance Expertise: Strong expertise in compliance with laws, regulations, and industry codes relevant to the life sciences industry.
- Education: Graduate-level qualification (B.Sc., M.Sc., JD, or Ph.D.)
- Global Experience: Ideal candidate will have experience working globally, with a strong understanding of international compliance regulations.

The salary range for this position is $219,800 - $293,000, commensurate with experience.
