Aecon, a Canadian leader in infrastructure development, is seeking an experienced Estimating Manager to join our team on the GO Rail Expansion (RER) project in the Greater Toronto Area. This transformative project is the largest capital infrastructure project in Ontario's historic GO Rail Expansion program.

About the Role:
  • Lead teams of estimators and provide oversight and guidance for cost make-up.
  • Assist the Chief Estimator in the management and development of the estimating group.
  • Manage and lead the estimating effort through the development phase and beyond.

This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as expertise in reading and understanding construction drawings and documents. You will be responsible for providing estimating input to the risk assessment and management process and contributing to the population of the Risk Register.

About You:
  • Degree in Civil Construction or equivalent combination of training.
  • 10-15 years of estimating and operational experience within major project estimating, including design-build with 5+ years in a management role.
  • Professional Engineer designation preferred.

The salary for this position is approximately $150,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. As an employee of Aecon, you can expect a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
