Job Title: Garage Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Garage Supervisor to join our team at PAE TRUCKS. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our garage facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate Garage Activities: Oversee the work of garage staff, including technicians, mechanics, and other support personnel.
  • Recommend Productivity Measures: Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase productivity and efficiency.
  • Resolve Work Problems: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to vehicle maintenance, repairs, and other garage operations.
  • Recruit and Hire Staff: Participate in the recruitment and hiring process for garage staff, ensuring that all candidates meet the necessary qualifications and standards.
  • Estimate Costs and Materials: Conduct cost analyses and estimate material requirements for garage projects and repairs.
  • Ensure Health and Safety: Implement and enforce health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all garage staff.
  • Requisition Materials and Equipment: Order and manage the procurement of materials, equipment, and supplies for garage operations.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in a garage or vehicle maintenance environment.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 35 to 40 hours per week.
