Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Produce Stocker to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a Produce Stocker, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our produce department is fully stocked and visually appealing to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Zoning and organizing the produce department to ensure efficient stock rotation and product visibility.
  • Rotating stock and checking for expired products to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Ensuring merchandise is properly signed and priced to prevent errors and discrepancies.
  • Adhering to cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Following proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels, and applying product protection when required.
  • Ensuring the department is fully stocked with merchandise and is ready for business.
  • Following Health and Safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in retail or customer service an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 kg and stand for long periods.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education in a related field.
  • Previous experience in inventory management or stock control.
  • Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures.
