About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our Cloud Networking team. As a member of this team, you will design, implement, and maintain innovative software solutions to transform service performance, durability, cost, and security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement software solutions to improve service performance, durability, cost, and security.
  • Invent on customers' behalf and solve difficult problems generating positive feedback.
  • Work independently and with the team to deliver software successfully.
  • Focus on operational excellence, constructively identifying problems and proposing solutions.
  • Make improvements to the development and testing processes.
  • Take ownership and do what it takes to get the job done.
  • Train and mentor new team members about customers, software, and development processes.
About the Team

Our team is responsible for developing and managing Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (IoT), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS. We are seeking a talented engineer who wants to build a next-generation networking service that will shift how customers use networking in the cloud.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
