Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a growth strategy for the British Columbia Property Tax Services business, leveraging existing relationships and pursuing new opportunities to drive revenue and market share.
- Identify and engage targeted companies, recruit, and hire high-performing staff for employment or acquisition, and maximize retention.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to ensure high-quality service delivery, technical excellence, and professional development.
- Develop, manage, inspire, coach, mentor, and support staff to achieve team, cultural, operational, and revenue goals, demonstrating high emotional intelligence and creativity in solving people and issues in a timely manner.
- 10+ years of relevant work experience, or a combination of relevant work experience and education.
- Post-secondary education in a relevant functional area, including a Bachelor of Commerce or MBA or similar.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Highly organized with strong analytical skills.
- Able to communicate complex tax matters and issues in a clear and concise manner.
- Excellent project management skills and applies a pragmatic and efficient approach to handling complex assignments.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to deal effectively at all levels within the organization.
- Effectively and tactfully handling difficult or sensitive issues.
- Ability to work in a team environment and provide leadership at all levels to ensure team goals are achieved.
