Overview

Avison Young is seeking a seasoned leader to drive the growth and development of our British Columbia Property Tax Services business. As the Senior Vice President, Property Tax Services, you will leverage existing relationships and pursue new opportunities to drive revenue and market share. Responsibilities

  • Lead the growth and development of the British Columbia Property Tax Services business, identifying and engaging targeted companies to drive revenue and market share.
  • Recruit and hire high-performing staff, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure high-quality service delivery and technical excellence.
  • Develop and manage a team of professionals to achieve business goals, providing technical guidance and support to ensure all appeals are completed in accordance with industry best practices and standards.
  • Collaborate with market leaders to build relationships with clients, develop growth opportunities, and drive efficiencies using the company's advanced internal and external technology platforms.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of relevant work experience, or a combination of relevant work experience and education, in a related functional area.
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field, such as a Bachelor of Commerce or MBA.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deal effectively at all levels within the organization.
  • Able to work in a team environment and provide leadership at all levels to ensure team goals are achieved.
