Cascadia Skincare is seeking a skilled Database Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our data management team, you will be responsible for collecting data to identify areas for improvement within our IT infrastructure, developing and implementing a strategic blueprint for database deployment, and maintaining computer databases.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data modelling, warehousing, and database administration, with experience in developing and maintaining databases, documenting customer requirements, and providing advice to other informatics professionals. You will also be responsible for designing and developing databases, operating database management systems to analyze data, and developing and implementing data administration policy, standards, and models.

In this role, you will work closely with our staff to understand their data requirements, collection, and availability, and provide guidance on data management tools. You will also be responsible for researching and documenting data requirements, data collection, and administration policy, and data access rules, as well as developing policies and procedures for network access and usage and for the backup and recovery of data.

Requirements:

  • College/CEGEP education
  • 1-2 years of experience in data modelling, warehousing, and database administration
  • Strong background in database development and maintenance
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
