Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented student to join our team as a Property Clerk Co-Op for the upcoming semester. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in real estate management, working closely with internal stakeholders and outside legal counsel. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing our property documentation and maintaining our legal database.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and outside legal counsel to obtain purchase documents for all real property owned by the Corporation.
- Create and maintain a property register for each property in the Corporation's legal database.
- File property documentation on the local network drive, ensuring all records are accurately organized and easily accessible.
- Assist in various administrative tasks related to property management and documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- Pursuing a business degree. Candidates in their 3rd or 4th year, post-graduate, or Masters program are preferred.
- A background in legal studies would be advantageous but is not required.
- Highly detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
- Administrative skills with a self-directed and organized approach to work.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
