Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Insights Specialist to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our data analytics community, you will be responsible for developing and leading data analytics packages that enable our leadership team to make informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement data analytics solutions that meet business requirements and drive strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze data, and develop actionable insights.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using PowerBI and other data visualization tools.
  • Translate complex data into concise and actionable recommendations for our leadership team.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analytics and apply this knowledge to drive business value.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in Microsoft Power BI, SQL queries, and data visualization tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Lean/six sigma green belt or higher.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology and software development lifecycle.
  • Manufacturing shopfloor or manufacturing engineering experience, with familiarity with manufacturing applications and databases.
