About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Communication Plans: Create comprehensive communication plans to support business objectives, including internal and external stakeholders.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery of communications.
  • Content Creation: Develop and edit publications, news stories, and other content to engage our audience.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate complex information into digestible formats for various audiences.
  • Internal Communications: Oversee the development and implementation of internal communications plans, including intranet updates and newsletters.
  • Content Strategy: Contribute to the development and implementation of a content strategy to build our brand and showcase our Employer Value Proposition (EVP).
  • Event Planning: Organize virtual and physical events to engage our audience and promote our brand.
  • Editorial Calendar: Manage our editorial calendar, ensuring timely and relevant content is published.
  • Brand Positioning: Develop external-facing content to position our brand as a trusted Specialty insurer and a top employer in the industry.
  • Best Practices: Research and implement best practices in communication to improve internal and external communication engagement rates.
Requirements
  • Education: Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of relevant communications experience, including writing and editing publications or news stories.
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills, interpersonal ability, and knowledge of web-based communication tools.
