Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team as a Business Partner to both the finance and operational teams. The successful candidate will provide analysis for decision-making, working closely with stakeholders to drive business growth and improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze financial results and variances, identifying trends and recommending actions to drive business improvement.
  • Compare monthly budgets and forecasts with actual results, providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Monitor and update standard costs, analyze PPV, and reconcile inventory (book to perpetual) to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Oversee project finances in tooling and capital projects, working closely with Project Managers to ensure projects remain within budget and reporting to corporate monthly on status.
  • Audit and review monthly financial information to ensure reasonability and accuracy.
  • Review and summarize capital requests, including assessing the overall business case of capital purchases.
  • Analyze opportunities and build models to support business decisions, providing data-driven insights to stakeholders.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute various ad-hoc queries and reports used by all management levels in the development of key strategy and operational decision-making.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or economics.
  • CPA designation considered an asset but not required.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and oral.
  • Highly competent in the use of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio).
  • VBA programming an asset.
  • Self-confidence, critical thinking, ability to influence, ability to work independently, and willingness to work extended hours (if necessary).
  • High level of time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good knowledge of the English language.
  • Knowledge of Customer Specific Requirements.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001/IATF 16949.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a 95% office environment and 5% plant floor environment, with the requirement to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when on the plant floor.
