Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Auto Country. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials within our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare shipping documents: Accurately prepare bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  • Container assembly and inspection: Assemble containers and crates, and inspect incoming goods against invoices or other documents to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Record-keeping and inventory management: Maintain accurate internal record-keeping systems and manage inventory levels to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Shortages and damage management: Record and address any shortages or damage to goods, and ensure prompt resolution.
  • Goods routing and packing: Route goods to appropriate storage areas, pack goods for shipping, and unpack goods received.
  • Shipping instructions and payment: Affix identifying information and shipping instructions on shipments, and process payments for goods.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires a fast-paced environment with attention to detail, repetitive tasks, and physical demands such as handling heavy loads, bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.

Personal Suitability

We are looking for a candidate with excellent interpersonal skills, initiative, judgment, and reliability. Experience is an asset, but not required.

Work Schedule

This is a permanent position with a 30-hour workweek. The language of work is English.
