Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Production Manager to join our team at Douglas Lake Equipment Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our agricultural equipment production facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement production schedules and duty assignments to ensure efficient operation of the facility.
  • Evaluate daily operations and make adjustments as needed to maintain productivity and quality standards.
  • Manage inventory of raw materials and finished products to prevent shortages and ensure timely delivery.
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including coordinating with cross-functional teams and vendors.
  • Direct quality control inspections and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, including tracking and reporting on stock levels and movement.
  • Plan and implement changes to machinery and equipment, production systems, and methods of work to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Develop and manage departmental budgets, including forecasting and reporting on expenses and revenue.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a production management or supervisory role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Knowledge of agricultural equipment and production processes.
