Job Title: Production Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to join our team at Douglas Lake Equipment Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring efficient and effective operations, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement production schedules and duty assignments to optimize production efficiency
  • Evaluate daily operations and identify areas for improvement
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and prevent shortages
  • Plan and implement changes to machinery and equipment, production systems, and methods of work
  • Direct quality control inspections and ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Organize and maintain inventory, including raw materials and finished products
  • Plan and manage departmental budgets and ensure effective resource allocation
  • Direct and control daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient production processes
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 5 years or more of experience in agricultural production or a related field
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
