Job Title: Corporate Counsel

Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Counsel to join our team in Guelph, ON. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a critical role in reviewing and negotiating contracts, researching legal issues, and providing guidance on risk management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Research legal issues and changes in the law to ensure compliance
  • Provide guidance on risk management and advise on perceived risks or liabilities
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the legal department and project teams
  • Provide high-quality services to internal and external clients
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree and a license to practice law in any province in Canada
  • At least 5 years of contract law experience
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, and PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of Excel and Access
