We are seeking a skilled and experienced Whitewater Rafting Guide to join our team at Canadian Outback Rafting Company Ltd.

Job Description:Responsibilities:
  • Lead groups on whitewater rafting expeditions, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.
  • Provide instruction and guidance on rafting techniques, safety procedures, and wilderness survival skills.
  • Operate and maintain watercraft, including rafts and kayaks.
  • Assist with trip planning, including route selection, camping logistics, and emergency preparedness.
  • Maintain equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and emergency services as needed.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience as a whitewater rafting guide or in a related field.
  • Wilderness First Aid Certificate, Advanced Wilderness First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, and First Aid Certificate.
  • Specialized knowledge of whitewater rafting, wilderness survival, and outdoor leadership.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound judgments in emergency situations.
