We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Psychiatric Nurse to join our interdisciplinary team at Ravensview, part of Homewood Health. As a key member of our team, you will provide direct health care services to patients presenting with complex addictions and mental health issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive mental health and addiction risk assessments, formulate treatment and discharge plans, and provide crisis intervention.
  • Implement the principles and practices of a patient and family-centered recovery model in mental health and addictions treatment.
  • Collaborate with patients and other health professionals to identify and assess trends and patterns that have implications for patients, families, and communities.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based strategies to improve care and participate in creating and evaluating health care policies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree or College Diploma from an accredited Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing program.
  • Two years' recent related experience in a mental health and/or substance use setting.
  • Current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals.
