At WHITE HAWK WELDING & MECHANICAL LTD., we are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and inspecting equipment to detect faults and malfunctions. You will diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required. Your duties will also include ordering parts and maintaining inventory, keeping maintenance reports and documentation, testing repaired equipment for proper performance, and ensuring that work meets manufacturers' specifications. Additionally, you will clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work, as well as perform repair work on heavy trucks and other routine maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment
  • Order parts and maintain inventory
  • Keep maintenance reports and documentation
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance
  • Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work
  • Perform repair work on heavy trucks
  • Perform other routine maintenance

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week
