Job Summary:

Ainsworth is seeking a highly skilled BAS Technician 3 to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting building automation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain building automation systems, including hardware and software components.
  • Perform troubleshooting and repair of building automation systems, including advanced diagnostic tools and software.
  • Coordinate with field technicians to ensure work quality and maintenance fulfillment.
  • Build out inspection reports and present them to end users.
  • Support the Remote Building Automation Systems team through remote diagnostics.
  • Work with third-party hardware and software in a service setting.
  • Provide engineering and design support for new construction and retrofits.
  • Provide onsite services through preventative maintenance and corrective work orders.
  • Follow Ainsworth standard practices in the delivery of BAS projects.
  • Develop a teamwork approach while working autonomously in a productive and efficient manner.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a college program in Instrumentation, Mechanical, or Computer/Electrical Engineering.
  • Over 4 years of related experience in building automation, security, and/or fire.
  • Valid Driver's License and ability to be insured by Ainsworth Inc.
  • Pass Security screening as required by government agencies and clients.
  • Physical fit and able to access and work in a construction site environment.
