Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Onboard Immigration Services. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food and Supply Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and hire food service staff.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, prepare budget and cost estimates, and address customers' complaints or concerns.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit reports, establish work schedules, and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Language: English.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position that requires working on-site at our physical location. We do not offer remote work options.
