Job Title: Intermediate Mobile Developer

We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Mobile Developer to join our software development team at BGC Engineering Inc. in Vancouver, BC.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing native iOS and iPadOS enterprise geohazard management mobile applications using.NET MAUI and Esri ArcGIS for offline use in the field. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with experience in programming languages such as C#, Java, or equivalent.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement mobile applications using.NET MAUI and Esri ArcGIS
  • Collaborate with other developers and testers on the Mobile team and across other software scrum teams
  • Work on mobile app features from beginning to end
  • Provide timely advice to leaders on development timelines and procedures
  • Refine User Stories by gathering requirements from stakeholders
  • Collaborate with multiple teams to define app features
  • Ensure quality and performance of application to specifications
  • Test software manually and through automation scripts
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical discipline or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years' experience with mobile development
  • Experience with programming language such as C#, Java or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of.NET framework using C#
  • Basic understanding of databases such as MS SQL, MySQL and SQLite

The estimated base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $120,000 CAD per annum, however base pay will be commensurate with job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Cambio Earth's compensation package also includes an annual bonus, training allowance and a comprehensive medical and dental plan.
