Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Real Estate Law Clerk to join our team at Linds & Associates Ltd. in Vaughan, Ontario.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transaction Management: Process, review, and finalize residential and commercial real estate transactions, including drafting and revising documents, conducting due diligence, and closing deals.
  • Document Preparation: Prepare and manage documentation for real estate transactions, including drafting residential and commercial leases and agreements, requisition letters, and closing documents.
  • Due Diligence: Conduct thorough searches of title and off-title due diligence, assess and resolve title issues, and review surveys and plans for description and encroachment issues.
  • File and Document Management: Maintain and update current files and archives in filing systems, perform, review, and summarize searches of title and off-title due diligence.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with solicitors, clients, and support staff to receive and implement instructions, and communicate effectively with clients, lawyers, and team members.
Requirements
  • Education: Completion of a diploma in Law Clerk or a related discipline.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Residential Real Estate Clerk within a law firm environment.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, professional communication skills, excellent multi-tasking abilities, and proficiency in MS Office, Teraview, and Conveyancer.
