Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Body Repair Technician to join our team at Town Autobody and Car Sales ltd. As a key member of our collision repair department, you will be responsible for estimating repair costs, inspecting repaired vehicles, and ensuring high-quality repairs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate repair cost based on damage examination report
  • Inspect repaired vehicles to ensure quality and safety standards
  • Test drive vehicles to verify proper handling and functionality
  • Clean and maintain work area to prevent accidents and injuries
  • Repair and replace body components, doors, frames, and underbody parts
  • File, grind, and sand body surfaces to achieve smooth finishes
  • Apply primers and repaint surfaces to match original factory colors
  • Repair or replace interior components, including seats, carpets, and trim
  • Install new windows, windshields, and sunroofs, and repair damaged ones
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in the field
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling, and lifting required
Benefits

Compensation

We offer a competitive salary of $45,000-$55,000 per annum, depending on experience. This estimate is based on national averages and industry standards.
