About the Role:

Gauthier Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is seeking a skilled Body Repair Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair and replace body components, doors, and frames
  • File, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired
  • Hammer out dents, buckles, and defects using blocks and hammers
  • Remove damaged fenders, panels, and grills and bolt or weld replacement parts into place
  • Repair or replace interior components
  • Repair or replace damaged windows, windshields, and sunroofs
  • Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams
  • Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment

Requirements:

  • Motor Vehicle Body Repairer Trade Certification
  • Motor Vehicle Body Repairer Red Seal Endorsement
  • Auto Body Repairer Trade Certification
  • 5 years or more of experience in the automotive body repair industry
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
