School Bus Driver

About the Position
We are seeking a skilled School Bus Driver to join our team at First Student Canada-Transco. As a School Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school, prioritizing vehicle maintenance, and providing support to students.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a school bus in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition.
- Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus, providing a safe and welcoming environment.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff to ensure a smooth and safe transportation experience.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license for at least 1 year.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- At least 21 years old.
- Clean Drivers Abstract.
- Ability to pass a Ministry prescribed medical examination and background checks.
