Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

At Bar Burrito, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and service in our dining areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
  • Hire and manage food service staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe dining area.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for future planning.
  • Prepare and submit reports, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare food order summaries for the chef, ensuring seamless communication and efficient kitchen operations.
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys, ensuring timely and accurate service.
  • Establish work schedules, balancing staff needs with customer demand and business requirements.
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience in food service management, with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to adjust to changing circumstances and priorities.
