Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • Deliver and Pick Up Items: Safely transport and deliver messages, parcels, and other items by hand, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Operate Vehicles: Drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products, adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
  • Communicate with Dispatch: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of items received and delivered, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods, ensuring safe and efficient handling.
  • Package Sorting: Sort packages for delivery, prioritizing timely and efficient service.
Requirements
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence: Possess a valid Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
  • Transportation Experience: Have local transportation experience, with a minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Work Schedule: Work a standard 40-hour week, with flexibility to adapt to changing demands.
