Medical Oncologist Opportunity at BC Cancer

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Oncologist to join our team at BC Cancer in Prince George, British Columbia. As a Medical Oncologist, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive cancer care to patients in our region.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art cancer centre, collaborating with a team of specialized medical oncologists to provide exceptional patient care. You will have the opportunity to participate in research and clinical trials, and contribute to the development of new treatments and therapies.

Responsibilities
  • Provide oncology consultation and patient care to patients with various types of cancer
  • Collaborate with a team of medical oncologists to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Participate in research and clinical trials to advance cancer care and treatment options
  • Contribute to the development of new treatments and therapies through collaboration with other healthcare professionals
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Fellowship standing in the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada in Internal Medicine
  • A certificate of Special Competence in Medical Oncology
  • Eligibility for licensing with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of British Columbia
  • Meet the requirements of credentialing by the Professional Advisory Committee of BC Cancer
