Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator

Job Summary:

SECURE is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our Recycling Team in Brooks, AB. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy equipment, including excavators, in diverse weather conditions and challenging work site environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate heavy equipment, including excavators, in accordance with company safety procedures and regulations.
  • Conduct daily equipment inspections and maintain accurate records.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding expected arrival times and service requirements.
  • Ensure all equipment and loads meet company and customer specifications.
  • Perform physical tasks, including lifting, shoveling, and moving heavy materials.

Requirements:

  • Class 1 Driver's License
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to perform minor servicing and maintenance of equipment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
