Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team at Great Connections Employment Services Inc.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify current and prospective staffing requirements and provide guidance to management on talent acquisition strategies.
  • Collect, screen, and present qualified candidates for job openings, ensuring a thorough understanding of the required skills and qualifications.
  • Advise job applicants on employment requirements, terms, and conditions, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Review candidate inventories, contact potential applicants, and arrange interviews to ensure timely hiring decisions.
  • Notify applicants of results and prepare job offers, maintaining open communication throughout the process.
  • Collaborate with managers and employees to advise on staffing policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and best practices.
  • Determine eligibility for entitlements and arrange staff training programs to enhance employee development.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in recruitment or a related field.
  • Certification in recruitment or human resources is an asset.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Compensation and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is approximately $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, RRSP matching, and paid time off.
