Job Title: Data Platform Engineer

Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled Data Platform Engineer to join our team in Vancouver. As a key member of our Data Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our multi-cloud data platform using Snowflake and AWS/Azure data platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with engineers and architects to develop and implement data platforms that meet business needs.
  • Provide expert-level support for Snowflake administration, including setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for data platforms using DevOps processes.
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure data platform environments are scalable, secure, and compliant with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Snowflake Data Administrator.
  • Working experience in Python scripting for automation.
  • Technical troubleshooting skills in ambiguous environments.
  • Clear knowledge of setting up CI/CD for data platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience as an Azure DevOps Engineer using GitLab and Azure Infrastructure.
  • BS or equivalent degree.
  • 2+ years of experience using Terraform.
  • Experience working with cloud-based database systems, including Snowflake data warehouses.
