Job Title: Hospitality Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Hospitality Specialist.

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and providing exceptional customer service. As a Hospitality Specialist, you will be responsible for addressing customer complaints or concerns, preparing and serving specialty food, and handling cash transactions.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Prepare and serve specialty food at customers' tables, ensuring high-quality presentation and prompt service.
  • Present bills to customers and accept payment in various methods, including cash, credit, debit cards, and travellers cheques.
  • Description menu items, including daily specials, and make recommendations to enhance the customer experience.
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently.
  • Take orders and relay them to kitchen and bar staff, ensuring accurate communication.
  • Assist clients/guests with special needs, providing personalized support and care.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, resolving issues and exceeding expectations.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Experience is an asset, but not necessary.
  • The ability to work on-site is mandatory; remote work arrangements are not available.
Work Environment:

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks simultaneously and managing competing priorities. The successful candidate must be able to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and work effectively in a team-oriented setting.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $18-$22 per hour, based on location and experience, which translates to approximately $37,000-$45,000 per year. This figure may vary depending on the specific requirements of the position and your individual qualifications.
