Automotive Technician Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician Specialist to join our team at Fairview Chrysler Dodge Limited.
About the Role:
This is a full-time permanent position, with a salary range of $55,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience. As an Automotive Technician Specialist, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on vehicles, diagnosing problems, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
Diagnostics: Use advanced diagnostic equipment to identify and repair complex issues with vehicle systems.
Repair and replacement of parts and components, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications.
Estimate labor costs for repairs and provide accurate quotes to customers.
Coach and instruct apprentices in their training.
Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have:
A Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience.
At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced dealership environment.
Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engine repair, transmission, brakes, and electrical systems.
Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a team environment and provide coaching and instruction to apprentices.
Valid driver's license and ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.
Own transportation to and from work.
