Job Title: Mortgage Underwriter Associate

Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Mortgage Underwriter Associate to join our team at Bayview Asset Management. As a Mortgage Underwriter Associate, you will be responsible for evaluating the credit worthiness and management capabilities of borrowers, as well as the real estate collateral securing the proposed loan.

Responsibilities:

* Evaluate credit applications and make recommendations for loan approval or denial
* Conduct in-depth review and analysis of financial information to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
* Collaborate with sales and other stakeholders to optimize business potential with broker channel

Requirements:

* At least 3 years of experience in residential or commercial underwriting, financial analysis, or deal structuring in financial services
* Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred
* Formal credit or residential/commercial loan training and some previous credit decisioning preferred

Job Description:

The Mortgage Underwriter Associate will be responsible for evaluating the credit worthiness and management capabilities of borrowers, as well as the real estate collateral securing the proposed loan.
