About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Glass Installation Assistant to join our team at GLASSCO AUTO & WINDOW LTD. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth installation of glass and other materials on our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and Transport Materials: Safely load and unload construction materials, including glass, from delivery vehicles to construction sites.
  • Erect and Dismantle Forms and Scaffolding: Assist in the setup and removal of concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades on construction sites.
  • Mix and Apply Materials: Assist in mixing and applying materials such as concrete and asphalt, as required for the project.
  • Demolition and Cleanup: Assist in the demolition of buildings and clean up construction sites, including removing rubble and debris.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance work on construction equipment and assist in repairing any issues that may arise.
  • Environmental Safety: Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants on construction sites, and ensure that all safety protocols are followed.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn on the job.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, with a regular schedule.
