About the Role

Talan, a leading international consulting group in innovation and transformation through technology, is seeking a highly skilled Java developer to join its team in the United States. The successful candidate will work on a Murex Upgrade project with an anticipated end date in Q2 2025, with the possibility of extending the project timeline by 1-3 months based on project needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain the Java layer around the Murex instance, ensuring seamless data flow.
  • Collaborate with team members across various global offices.
  • Work with the latest version of Murex, ensuring compatibility and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or Quantitative Finance.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience with Murex.
  • Java Expertise: Strong experience in Java development, particularly in a financial services environment.
  • Murex Knowledge: Recent experience with Murex, understanding its architecture and integration points.
  • Python: Experience with Python is a plus.
  • Apache Camel: Familiarity with the Apache Camel framework is advantageous.
  • Autonomy: Ability to work independently and efficiently within a distributed team.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members across different time zones.
Benefits
  • The salary range for this role is US$120,000 - US$190,000 on W2. Working on C2C is also a possibility.
