Senior Java Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our team at Recooty. As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale Java applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop complex Java applications using Java technology (Core Java, J2EE)
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, following best practices and coding standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Java technologies and trends
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in application development and technical designing
  • Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Engineering, preferably Computer Science/Engineering
  • Strong understanding of Java technology (Core Java, J2EE)
  • Knowledge of open-source frameworks: Spring, Hibernate, Spring Batch
  • Integration middleware products, Service Oriented Architecture
  • Decent scripting knowledge (UNIX / Python)
  • Database Development and Debugging – Stored Procedures (Sybase and/or DB2)
  • Database Design and Modeling
  • Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies
  • Design Patterns (GoF and J2EE)
Preferred Skills:
  • Exposure to NoSQL databases like MongoDB
  • Exposure to distributed systems/tools like Apache Zookeeper, Apache Kafka
  • REST, Ajax, SOA2
