The Procurement Sr. Analyst will be responsible for conducting analyses and developing financial models to support the procurement function. This role will execute sourcing strategies for key categories, including food, paper, services, construction, and equipment. The Procurement Sr. Analyst will also liaise with Marketing, Development, Operations, and/or Design functions to support the Tim Hortons Brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute procurement strategy for assigned categories, including sourcing and contingencies.
  • Assess business risks associated with the procurement of goods or services in assigned categories and ensure transparency of risk.
  • Support the Lead with sourcing and onboarding new vendors in the RBI supply chain and managing the termination of vendors when applicable.
  • Research, analyze, and interpret financial information and market trends.
  • Develop financial and comparative cost models to analyze deals and offers to determine viability and profitability.
  • Measure supplier performance, identify performance improvement initiatives, and support corrective actions as required.
  • Participate in the negotiation of purchase prices and execute business tenders.
  • Drive purchase cost savings initiatives to improve restaurant profitability.
  • Participate in regular cross-functional category team meetings to make sourcing recommendations and highlight supply risks.
  • Act as a point of contact with select vendors in assigned categories to resolve issues impacting restaurant owners.
  • Monitor and update cost changes and submit requests to create new and delist old items in the system.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, or Engineering preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related function.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as leadership capabilities.
  • Develops financial models to analyze deals and offers to determine viability and profitability.
  • Strong analytical skills, including researching, analyzing, and interpreting data.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities, time management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Category-specific purchasing experience preferred.
  • QSR, food processing, retail, or CPG experience preferred.
  • Advanced level in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Experience with SAP ERP software is a plus.
