Internal Communications Specialist

About the Role:
The Communications Specialist, Internal will play a critical role in developing and executing advanced communication strategies for internal audiences at Doctors of BC. This position requires a high level of autonomy and accountability, with a focus on promoting organizational culture and enhancing employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement comprehensive communication strategies to support organizational objectives and promote the organization's mission and values.
- Partner with the Communications Manager to streamline strategy execution and lead cross-functional projects.
- Develop and distribute compelling content across various platforms to engage Doctors of BC's diverse internal audience.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies, using data analytics to inform decision-making and strategy adjustments.
- Provide guidance and leadership to staff in various departments, collaborating on project work and contributing to organizational culture.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in a communication role, with a proven track record of developing and implementing effective communication strategies.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft messages for diverse platforms and audiences.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead projects, coordinate teams, and manage timelines and deliverables.
- Advanced knowledge of digital communication tools and platforms, including social media, content management systems, and email marketing software.
