Architectural Project Manager

Ware Malcomb is seeking an experienced Architectural Project Manager to join our team in Vaughan or Toronto office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage entire projects from start to finish, including conceptual, schematic, design development, construction documentation, and construction services.
  • Lead consultants and internal resources, oversee contract document development, adhere to budgets, facilitate contracts, and represent the company at construction sites.
  • Be the primary client contact throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate consultant teams, identify scope of work, collect fees, select consultants, and facilitate contracts.
  • Work with Ware Malcomb consultants to coordinate trades, achieve complete and coordinated contract documents, and obtain building permits.
  • Conduct local, county, state, and federal project code searches and analysis.
  • Ensure the financial success of all responsible projects.
  • Communicate with clients, brokers, contractors, consultants, and team members.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in architecture.
  • OAA License.
  • Diverse commercial experience, including industrial, office, healthcare, and retail projects.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
  • AutoCAD and Revit skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and Newforma.
  • Thorough knowledge of building codes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate complete contract documents.
