At AB Complex Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Technician to join our team. As an Accounting Technician, you will be responsible for calculating and preparing cheques for payroll, calculating fixed assets and depreciation, and maintaining financial records. You will also be responsible for preparing statistical, financial, and accounting reports, as well as preparing tax returns and trial balances. Additionally, you will be responsible for reconciling accounts and maintaining computerized bookkeeping systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with MS Excel, MS Outlook, Quick Books, and Simply Accounting. They will also have strong attention to detail and be able to work independently. Key Responsibilities:
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
  • Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
  • Maintain financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Prepare statistical, financial and accounting reports
  • Prepare tax returns
  • Prepare trial balance of books
  • Reconcile accounts
Requirements:
  • Experience with MS Excel, MS Outlook, Quick Books, and Simply Accounting
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently
