Join Our Team as a Home Support Worker

Closing the Gap Healthcare Group is a leading provider of home-based and community-setting services, dedicated to delivering exceptional care to Canadians. We are excited to announce the relaunch of our Home Support Worker program, a comprehensive training and employment opportunity for individuals passionate about healthcare.

Program Overview

Our 10-week program includes:

  • 5 weeks of paid virtual training, covering essential skills and knowledge in home care and service planning
  • 5 weeks of paid on-the-job training, where you will apply your skills in real-world settings
  • Employment opportunities at the end of the training, with a competitive compensation package and comprehensive benefits

We seek individuals who are customer-service-centric, motivated to help others, and possess good communication and listening skills. If you enjoy working independently and thrive in a dynamic environment, this program may be the perfect fit for you.

Requirements

To be successful in this program, you must:

  • Have access to a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license
  • Pass a clear Vulnerable Sector Screening check upon hire
  • Commit to 10 weeks of full-time training

This program is made possible through partnerships with the Ontario Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development Skills Fund, Government of Canada, and the Government of Ontario.
