Job Title: Food and Beverage Service Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food and Beverage Service Manager to join our team at Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Limited. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our food and beverage services, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a team of food and beverage staff, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to deliver exceptional service.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, increase revenue, and enhance the overall dining experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations, including menu development, inventory management, and scheduling.
- Monitor and control expenses, ensuring profitability and efficiency in food and beverage operations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor analysis, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and best practices.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in restaurant supervision or a related field.
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to direct and supervise staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Relevant certifications, such as Serving It Right (BC)/Pro Serve (Alberta)/Smart Service (Ontario), and Food Safe Level 1 certificate.
