Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in Dublin. As a key member of the Access Talent Group, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality power plant projects.

About the Role

In this exciting opportunity, you will be responsible for managing and executing quality assurance and control processes for the power plant project. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that all installation, testing, and commissioning activities comply with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

You will collaborate closely with site teams, clients, and contractors to maintain exceptional quality throughout the project lifecycle. This includes developing and implementing the Quality Management Plan (QMP) for the power plant project, ensuring all electrical, mechanical, and control system installations meet project specifications, industry standards (ISO, IEC), and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the Quality Management Plan (QMP) for the power plant project.
  • Ensure all electrical, mechanical, and control system installations meet project specifications, industry standards (ISO, IEC), and regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee and ensure compliance with Instrotec's internal quality procedures and guidelines.
  • Perform regular inspections of electrical and mechanical systems, including cables, instrumentation, and control systems.
  • Oversee testing protocols, including FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing), SAT (Site Acceptance Testing), and commissioning tests.
  • Ensure all inspection and test results meet the required standards and specifications.
Documentation & Reporting

You will prepare and maintain accurate QA/QC documentation including inspection reports, test results, and NCR (Non-Conformance Report) records. You will also provide detailed and regular quality reports to the Project Manager and Senior QA/QC Manager.

Qualifications & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field).
  • 3+ years of experience in a QA/QC role, ideally within power plant, energy, or large-scale industrial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and other relevant quality regulations.
  • Proficiency in QA/QC processes including inspection, testing, and commissioning procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
Salary & Benefits
