Job Title: Household Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and organized Household Assistant to join our team at Langford Household.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our household, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors, dusting furniture, and performing laundry duties.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Housekeeping: Make beds, change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Laundry: Launder clothing and household linens.
  • General: Perform other cleaning and maintenance tasks as required.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking, outdoors.
  • Work Setting: Work in employer's/client's home.
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check required.
  • Transportation: Public transportation available.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, organized, reliability, honesty.
Working Conditions:

Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment.

English.

Hours of Work:

30 hours per week.
