We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Administrator to join our team at 536670 YUKON INC dba WALKER HOME CONSTRUCTION. Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting and Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to management.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, laws, and regulations, and identify and mitigate financial risks.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years in Accounting or a related field.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: QuickBooks, MS Excel, MS Word, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Working Conditions:
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a large workload.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a standing position for extended periods.
